Nice but not worth the money

Just received the Gold Feather Heart Charm Necklace as a belated holiday gift after selecting it from the website with my husband as a celebratory gift of our family. Initially thought that it was quite unique and original. And it is! So in that regard, I would challenge someone to find something else as unique as this.
However, for the price, the quality compared to other pieces of jewelry just doesn't seem worth it. After you add an additional charm and the birthstone charms, so that the gift you receive resembles the picture, the original $285 amount reaches $413. For that amount of money, I would have expected a more significant piece of jewelry.
Additionally, the necklace comes with a "care warning" not to be worn in water, with perfumes, etc. The item description on the website doesn't reveal how delicate the necklace is. They do send you a cleaning cloth; however that cloth is a small 1 inch by 1 inch square of black paper.
I was thinking that I would be able to wear this everyday without worry. But in order to best care for this item, it has to be cared for as I would a pearl necklace. And when comparing the price and actual presence, this necklace certainly can not compare to a real pearl necklace which you could also purchase for $413 dollars.
I have received jewelry as gifts on numerous occasions and when discovering the price of this item, I compared it to others I have that cost $400+ and am just disappointed.

If you are sentimental and price doesn't matter, this is a very unique gift.Cons:
The chain is thin.
The gold feather heart disk and charms are of a very thin metal.
The birthstone charms are very small.Amazing

Bought this for my wife for mothers day last month and it came in nice packaging on time for mother's day as promised! She wore it and got several compliments immediately at her birthday party. Love the personalization where i had a charm with my name and one with her name. Very nice!

Feather Heart Necklace

I bought this necklace as a gift for my wife since she has been going through tough times. It hit a real note with her and it really brightened her day. Its been three weeks and I see her wear it everyday and we are going out more. She comments how the design of the necklace charm is so refreshing and happy. I love the personalized charms that had our names engraved on each charm. It's a terrific necklace.
