| | | Celebrity Moms and Dads - The Pros and Cons of Being a Celebrity Baby
| | Have you ever wondered what it might be like to be a celebrity baby? The other day I was reading a full color brochure that clearly described products I know many celebrities would die for. I'm talking custom made, hand crafted cribs, gold plated shoes, leather baby jackets... Don't get me wrong... the content was beautiful. The bassinets were very elegant, the baby clothing very "haute couture" but certainly not always the most practical gifts for a baby. That said, I don't know a single parent who doesn't want to spoil their baby at some point or another by splurging on a luxurious baby gift or two. Why shouldn't you?
Celebrity moms and dads are likely to go out of their way to get the top of the line products and fashion accessories for their babies. It's rather funny if you think about it. Most babies will outgrow their clothes in just a few short months, but many moms wouldn't blink at spending $600 for a custom onesie for their baby if they could afford to. Why not after all, we only get to be a baby once. If I had a celebrity baby shop, I would solicit the stars directly simply because they know how to shop for their babies. In fact, I'd write them a letter. Seriously, I would pull out some personal letterhead and address it as follows, "Dear Celebrity, I want to congratulate you on the birth of your baby. Here are some terrific new products I thought you might enjoy..."
Seriously, when you are a celebrity baby, why not enjoy the very best? Of course most moms I know treat their children like celebrity babies even if they can't afford to. I know I do my very best to spoil my children every chance I get. Of course, there are some disadvantages of having celebrity parents. You may after all, end up with a name like "apple" "prune" or "moon."
